David Burgher and Kevin Gordon recently attended the Alzheimer Scotland Conference at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre. The annual conference brought together over 500 delegates for an innovative programme with key international, national and Scottish speakers. Delegates included people with dementia, policy makers, carers, national and local government staff, health and care professionals, academics, staff from Alzheimer and Dementia associations, along with representatives from the pharmaceutical industry, legal, financial, property and technology sectors. David and Kevin also used this opportunity to demonstrate their unique Virtual Reality Empathy Platform (VR-EP) design tool which helps Architects and Designers create dementia friendly buildings and spaces by understanding how dementia can affect a person’s vision.
