Easter Langlee

The sketches show part of a major planning submission to support client’s interests with the preparation of the local structure development plans for this area.

The master plan looked to explore how the land form and mix of use could be carried out to promote a diversity of use and which was sustainable over the long term as a development strategy for this area.

The scale of the site dictates splitting it into various zones recognising the constraints both physical and spatial to make the best use of the land. The housing arranged is arranged in high density cores with lighter density housing around the perimeter.

The public walkways and circulation would be strengthened and enhanced to develop the existing woodland walks and provide for safe clear pedestrian routes through the site.

The plan was presented to the local authority and through continued dialogue it is envisaged that this will continue to provide a strategic frame work for the future development of this area.
